If you're looking for a luxurious utilitarian light-duty pickup, look no further than the 2020 Ram 1500. Not only is the Ram 1500 one of the best pickups you can buy, but it's also one of the best vehicle options. It has a rich interior and delivers fluid power and a supple ride. Ram trucks are great at just about everything, including hauling and commuting. Keep reading to learn more about the 2020 Ram 1500.

Engine and Performance
The Ram offers four engines. First, there's the electric-motor-assisted V-6 and V-8. Also available are a turbodiesel V-6 and a nonhybrid V-8. All of these are backed by one of two ZF eight-speed automatic transmissions.

What separates the Ram from other pickups is the exceptional suspension. The 1500 comes with optional four-corner air springs or a standard coil-spring rear axle. Both offer serene rides, while the former enables an adjustable ride height that facilitates ingress and egress, towing, and bed access.

Safety
The Ram 1500 received the highest ratings available in all six crashworthiness tests. These tests included a challenging passenger-side overlap front test. Available advanced safety features include:
Lane departure warning
Smart cruising
Guided parking
Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path and trailer detection
360-degree surround-view camera
The Ram 1500 is designed for security and safety from the ground up, whether you're towing heavy loads or precious cargo.

2020 Ram 1500 Trim Levels
The Ram 1500 comes in seven available trim levels. All but two of them come standard with a quad cab and 6 ft-4 in bed. Most trims offer a crew cab with the same bed or a shorter 5 ft-7 in one. However, the Rebel and Limited trims are only available in a crew cab with the more extended bed option.
