My Lease Is Ending – What’s Next?

If you’re a first-time leaser, you’ve probably been enjoying the last couple of years with your new vehicle. But for many drivers, the first time a lease comes to an end can be stressful – what are the next steps? What do you need to do to prepare for the end of your lease? What if you love your RAM 1500 and don’t want a new one? Don’t worry. Not only will our expert staff help you through the process, but we’ll share a couple things you can do to prepare right now.

The first thing you can do is get ready for your vehicle inspection. About 60 to 90 days before your lease ends, we’ll be in touch to schedule an inspection. Wear and tear is a normal part of driving a vehicle during a lease period, but we’ll want to check and make sure there isn’t more serious damage.

After the inspection, it’s time for you to think about what’s next. You have a couple of options. You can buy the car you’ve been driving during the lease period, which is a great way to stick with a vehicle you know and love. You can also get ready to sign a new lease, either on the latest version of the same model or a new model that better fits your needs. If you decide leasing isn’t for you anymore, that’s okay too! We can help you find the right new or used model to purchase.

Whatever you decide, you can count on help from our friendly and knowledgeable Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, and Jeep® dealers serving Pryor, OK. Tulsa area drivers don’t need to stress about the end of a lease. With a little preparation, the process is easy, and you’ve got plenty of options for what’s next. And you can always call us at Roberts Dodge Chrysler Jeep with any questions!
